Google levels the Internet playing field for small businesses

Your WebSite in the top 10 on Google search!

   Tom Spencer

Want your local business WebSite to be in the top 10 listings on Google out of 100,000 WebSites? Large business can pay thousands of dollars to be listed in the top 10 but Google leveled the playing field for small businesses on a tight budget.

First you need a WebSite you can get a free one by clicking here.

Second google yourself! Click google in the search bar, when there type in you top product (ok, you can type in your name or store name, it is kind of fun) now back to work. Say you are a moving company in Enumclaw; think like someone looking for your product that does not know your business name.

This is what it looks like; you’re looking for a mover in your town. Type in the town first then move or moving or mover, see what comes up. Enumclaw Moving & Storage…

The top three with a yellow background are sponsored meaning they pay money to be listed there.

Next you will see a map entitled Places (Google Places) the first one listed is in alphabetical order Budget Truck Rentals the second is your moving company MovingMade-EZ.

Notice the little number at the top; you are listed number 6 out of 167,000 WebSites that have the same information!

Click on your name, then at the top of the page it will read “Claim this listing” click & claim & insert your information including your WebSite and pictures! If you have already claimed the listing check to see if all of your information is correct.

You can do this same process for the following local Indexes, just click & claim:
